St. Peter's Antiochian Orthodox Church

The goal in this redesign was to provide a web presence that is consistent with the conservative character ofthe church and that is easily updated. The brick red and butter yellow create a warm, subdued feel while the icon of St. Peter with the cross of St. Peter behind make recognition easy. We chose Drupal for the site design for two primary reasons. 1) It is easy to update. 2) It is quite extensible through the use of various modules.

Some key features of this site include: *Individual profile and contact pages to protect users’ information and privacy. *A calendar that creates a subscribable .ics calendar for parishioners to keep up to date. *Forums for parishioners to fellowship with each other between Sundays.

Overall, we were able to create an online presence for St. Peter’s that served to welcome visitors, foster community among the parishioners, and provide all visitors with current information in a timely fashion.
